Los Angeles will be the only county in the final wave due to its size, on November 13, 2017. There will be four (4) waves for the rollout, with a group of counties going live every four weeks, beginning on August 7, 2017. Once the webinar dates are established, a forthcoming communication will be sent out. CDSS also will provide webinar training to county staff in each phase of rollout. This will also allow appropriate time for outreach and training to recipients and providers through direct mailings, support materials, webcasts and webinar trainings. Timesheet Options for IHSS Providers Trinity County Using the Electronic Timesheet : 8 6 System ETS reduces the wait time between mailing a timesheet Use of. To ensure adequate help desk support to recipients and providers, we will be proceeding with statewide rollout to all other counties with a phased approach. As of July 25, 2017, there were 10,149 providers and 8,446 recipients (approximately 15% of the pilot counties population) enrolled in ETS. The pilot has been very successful and we have received positive feedback directly from providers and recipients, and from counties and labor organizations. The pilot of this new ETS has been running in Riverside, Sacramento, and Yolo counties since the first week in June 2017. This new functionality also allows all providers, including those that wish to continue with the paper timesheet process, to create an account by which they can check on the status of their timesheet and paycheck. Benefits include a reduction in mailing times of timesheets to them and their submission back to the timesheet processing facility, as well as real-time feedback about remaining authorized hours that can be worked and whether any timesheet entries would result in a violation of provider workweek limitations if submitted. This new functionality is optional for IHSS/WPCS recipients and providers, and fully replaces paper timesheets for those people choosing to use it. As previously communicated, a new web-based electronic timesheet service (ETS) for the In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) and Waiver Personal Care Services (WPCS) programs has been developed.
